Dr. Rebecca Varney is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon focused on helping patients stay active through thoughtful, individualized care. She specializes in advanced reconstructive procedures and works closely with patients to develop treatment plans aligned with their goals and lifestyle.
ABOUT
Dr. Rebecca Varney is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with advanced training in complex reconstruction, total ankle replacement, deformity correction, trauma, and sports-related injuries. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University.
Dr. Varney completed her foot and ankle surgery residency at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Virginia before relocating to Arizona to pursue an advanced fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at the CORE Institute. This specialized training provided extensive experience in both surgical and non-surgical management of complex foot and ankle conditions.
Her approach to patient care is rooted in communication and collaboration. Dr. Varney prioritizes listening to her patients, understanding their functional goals, and developing personalized treatment strategies that support long-term mobility and overall wellness.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Varney enjoys exploring Arizona’s hiking trails, golfing, traveling, and discovering new restaurants, always in search of the perfect meal.
